Christmas Jazz: Riikka Keränen Quartet
Oulussa syntynyt jazzlaulaja Riikka Keränen on yksi suomalaisen musiikkikentän vaikuttavimmista jazzartisteista. Hänen musiikissaan post-bop-jazzin elementit yhdistyvät pop-suuntautuneemman lähestymistavan sävyihin ja herkkyyteen. Keräsen vahvuus on kyky tuoda eilisen jazzin elementtejä tähän päivään.
Monipuolisena laulajana Keränen on yhtä kotonaan niin konserttisaleissa, festivaalilavoilla kuin intiimeissä jazzklubeissakin. Esiintyessään hän houkuttelee yleisön maailmaansa hunajaisen tummalla äänellään ja vahvalla tulkinnallaan.
Omien yhtyeidensä lisäksi Keränen on tullut tutuksi Emma- ja Teosto-palkintoehdokkuuksin huomioidussa vokaaliyhtye Signessä sekä Emma-palkitun lastenmusiikkiyhtye Megasakin riveissä.
