New3
New3 is a trio of three rising young jazz musicians, bringing together two voices and wind instruments in a fresh and unconventional way. The members’ original compositions and arrangements of compelling songs create a musical environment filled with space, curious experimentation, improvisation, honest interpretation, and presence.
Yhtyeen jäsenet ovat vakiinnuttaneet asemansa Suomen jazzkentällä, ja ovat tulleet tunnetuiksi muun muassa yhtyeistä Helmi Antila Quartet, Mattsson/Herrala/Kallio sekä Siina Suutarinen. Muusikot ovat tutustuneet Sibelius-Akatemian jazzosastolla, ja heidän ystävyytensä kuuluu musiikissa vahvasti. Yhtyeen tavoitteena on tuoda musiikki lähelle ihmisiä ja tarjota yleisölle jotain aivan uutta.
