Oulu Music Festival Foundation was established by the City of Oulu in 1990, and is the organization behind the Oulu Music Festival. In addition to producing the Oulu Music Festival, the foundation organizes the year-round Jazz & Etno concert series and Jazzpatio events on summers. Furthermore, the foundation hosts annual masterclasses in conjunction with the Oulu Music Festival. The Oulu Music Festival Foundation collaborates with several different organizations.
The activities of the Oulu Music Festival Foundation are directed by the foundation’s Board of Directors. During the 2025–2029 term, the Chair of the Board is Aleksanteri Kekonen and the Vice Chair is Virpi Räisänen.
The members of the Foundation's Board are Veikko Ervasti, Taina Kyrönlampi, and Juho Vehkaoja, and the personal deputies are Juuso Säkkinen, Maija Saraste, Ari-Pekka Sirviö, Suvi Suonsivu, and Riitta Mörö.
