OMJ x Valve2026 Culture Fridays: Musiikkipolku lapsuudesta nuoruuteen

Valveen Paljetti will be filled with a festival atmosphere, featuring a discussion on music education and a musical performance by the 4B class vocal group from Teuvo Pakkala School. The event lasts approximately one hour. The discussion participants are Taru Ylitapio, music play school teacher at the Oulu Conservatory; Maria Viitasaari, music class teacher at Teuvo Pakkala School; and Jaakko Jauhiainen from Madetoja Upper Secondary School of Music, whose areas of expertise include music studies, music theory and composition, orchestra work, and ensemble performance.

Valve is accessible without barriers through the Hallituskatu-side entrance; the automatic doors open with a sensor. The ticket office is located in the lobby; the ticket counter is high, with an induction loop available. The accessible restroom is located in the basement.
