Veera Aliska Quintet is a group assembled by vocalist Veera Aliska, performing her original compositions as well as selected jazz standards. While a modern sound is present, the audience is also taken into energetic, swinging Ella Fitzgeraldin energetic, swinging atmospheres reminiscent of traditional vocal jazz legends. The rhythm section consists of rising students from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences and the Sibelius Academy’s jazz department, all of whom are actively working in the jazz scene.
Veera Aliska (b. 1997) is a singer born in Turku, who has been particularly praised for her dark vocal tone and improvisational skills. Aliska lives in Helsinki and is studying to become a music pedagogue at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. She has performed as a soloist with ensembles such as the UMO Jazz Orchestra, the Finnish Air Force Big Band, and the Urban Quartet (ITA).

The Jumpru Pub patio area is accessible. The stage is located at the rear of the patio, in front of which there is elevated patio space. Jumpru Pub is not an accessible venue, and there is no accessible restroom available.
