Anno 22
Anno 22 is a jazz ensemble from Jyväskylä made up of young musicians. Their music is inspired by modern Nordic jazz, playfully exploring different textures and soundscapes. The group’s compositions alternate between more traditional acoustic soundscapes and electronic elements, ranging from electric bass to electronic drums.
Pianist Emma Romsin the compositions represent the band’s more traditional sound, drawing on the clear, Nordic tonal aesthetic, and the drummer Senni Hauta-ahon the compositions draw influences from films and the world of funk, creating a strong melodic core while also branching out into diverse sonic landscapes. The group is set to release its debut album later this year.

The Jumpru Pub patio area is accessible. The stage is located at the rear of the patio, in front of which there is elevated patio space. Jumpru Pub is not an accessible venue, and there is no accessible restroom available.
