New3
New3 is a trio of three rising young jazz musicians, bringing together two voices and wind instruments in a fresh and unconventional way. The members’ original compositions and arrangements of compelling songs create a musical environment filled with space, curious experimentation, improvisation, honest interpretation, and presence.
The members of New3 have stablished themselves on the Finnish jazz scene and are known from ensembles such as Helmi Antila Quartet, Mattsson/Herrala/Kallio, and Siina Suutarinen. The musicians met while studying at the Jazz Departement of the Sibelius Academy, and their close friendship is clearly reflected in their music. With New3, they aim to brinf music closer to people and offer audiences something truly new.
