Kadi Vija 3
Kadi Vija 3 is a Helsinki based jazz group, whose music echoes the sound of 1950s–60s horn trio jazz. Even the group's instrumentation and Vija's compositions are reminiscent of that trio format, where the human voice now interprets the melodies usually played by wind instruments, accompanied by double bass and drums.
The band’s musicians are solid professionals of jazz. Described as a phenomenal vocalist and known for her instrumental approach to voice, Kadi Vija has built her reputation through guest appearances with the UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestra, collaborations with pianist Seppo Kantonen and vibraphonist Arttu Takalo, as well as her own groups, Kadi Vija Key Project and Kadi Quartet. Double bassist Mikael Saastamoinen plays in Linda Fredriksson Juniper, Superposition, and OK:KO. Drummer Ville Luukkonen performs with, among others, Anna Inginmaa’s band and Arto Ikävalko Trio, and has for years hosted the long-running Manala Afterwork Jazz club in Helsinki.

Accessibility
The concert will be held on the upper floor of Mallassauna. Access to the upper floor is via stairs. The venue does not have accessible restroom facilities or an induction loop.
