Räsynukke is a Jyväskylä-based band founded in 2011 that plays acoustic Finnish-language music, stylistically crossing between folk and modern folk music. The band's music is influenced by Finnish nature and mysticism. Räsynukke's music flows lightly and resonates powerfully. It is delicate, adventurous, and dynamic. According to the audience, the band creates an intimate and approachable atmosphere at their gigs. Suvin's clear and versatile voice, along with Hessu's percussive fingerstyle guitar, creates the foundation that each Räsynukke musician skillfully complements with their own instrument.
Currently, Räsynukke is working on their fourth full-length album. The band released their third full-length album Metsien tuolle puolen in March 2021. Räsynukke's first full-length album was released in January 2014, and their second full-length Kaksi vuodenaikaa saw the light of day in February 2016. Räsynukke has ventured and played not only in Finland but also in China. In November 2024, Räsynukke's music can also be heard in the musical Minä rakastin yötä.
For the Finnish Folk Music Association tour, Räsynukke was chosen to perform as a trio:
Suvi Uura, vocals
Hessu Isoniemi, guitar
Hanna Turunen, double bass or
Emmi Tauriainen, violin
