There is no shortage of swing when Finland's most legendary folk music ensemble JPP joins forces with vibraphonist Panu Savolainen, better known from the jazz side.
The repertoire, which combines jazz improvisation with the Kaustinen fiddle playing, consists not only of Panu Savolainen's more recent compositions, but also of JPP's classic pieces as well as Charlie Parker repertoire performed in 2020. The new album by Panu Savolainen & JPP will be released in October 2023.
