AKI RISSANEN TRIO

Aki Rissanen Trio is one of the leading jazz bands in Finland. The three albums released by British Edition Records (Amorandom, 2016; Another North, 2017 and Art In Motion, 2019) have been a convincing demonstration of the band’s capabilities and has led to their international breakthrough. Art In Motion album was chosen as one of the top two jazz albums by Helsingin Sanomat in 2019 and received a mention as an Editor’s Pick in the most significant jazz magazine Downbeat.

Nyt Jazzliiton kiertueen myötä keikoille palaa entistä vahvemmin yhteenhitsautunut trio, jonka soittoa on kuvailtu omaleimaisen erottuvaksi ja kunnianhimoiseksi. Rissasen oma tuntemus vahvistaa arviot:
