The Bop Sessions

The Bop Sessions is offering an unforgettable jazz experience with the energy of the jazz sessions from the 1940’s and the 1950’s! The Band consists of jazz musicians from Helsinki and Oulu, bound together by love towards the Bop music of the past.

The repertoire consists of jazz standards, arranged by the band to respect and uphold the tradition of Bop Jazz music. Improvisation, communication and the joy of playing are core values of this group, who pay homage to the old masters of jazz as well as create new forms of musical expression!
