SUSANNA ALEKSANDRA QUARTET

Praised songwriter and charismatic singer Susanna Aleksandra started her collaboration with pianist Joonas Haavisto in 2018. A shared view of the layering of music, a strong emotional charge and storytelling in the form of contemporary jazz gave birth to the album Souls Of The Night, first released in Japan last spring. The album was released in Finland under the name The Siren, and it has received good reviews in international jazz media. Susanna is currently completing her master's degree at the Sibelius Academy under the leadership of Professor Jukkis Uotila and Dr. Aija Puurtinen. In 2020, she was a fellow at the USC Thornton School of Music in the United States, where his teachers include e.g. double Grammy nominee, jazz singer Sara Gazarek and Grammy winner Bob Mintzer.

A seven concert OMF Jazz & Etno Spring 2022 series ticket is available at Ticketmaser and it includes all the Spring 2022 Jazz & Etno concerts. Series tickets are on sale until February 19th 2022.
