Mathias Sandberg trio – Hard swingin’, groovy & soulful jazz!
Jazzkitaristi ja säveltäjä Mathias Sandberg, jota amerikkalaisessa musiikkilehdessä Jazziz Magazine on kutsuttu ”yhdeksi Suomen parhaiten varjelluista salaisuuksista”, kuuluu maamme aktiivisimpiin jazzmuusikoihin.
Sandberg's debut solo album "The Doctor" has received acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic. The long-awaited new trio album "The Captain" was released in 2023, accompanied by a 60-concert release tour from Enontekiö to Helsinki (including Pori Jazz).
The concert will feature the trio's unique blend of "hard swingin', groovy & soulful jazz," characterized by strong melodies, rhythmically playful improvisation, and nearly telepathic ensemble playing.

The Jumpru Pub patio area is accessible. The stage is located at the rear of the patio, in front of which there is elevated patio space. Jumpru Pub is not an accessible venue, and there is no accessible restroom available.
