Luomuduo (Olli Sippola, violin and Sakari Keipi, guitar) are the outspoken prophets of Nordic instrumental post-folk music. Rooted deeply in the Finnish fiddler tradition, they were awarded first place in the nationwide 2022 Konsta Jylhä competition for their interpretations of the legendary fiddler Hassu Pekka's melodies. In addition to their strong respect for tradition, Luomuduo displays a healthy disregard for genre and style boundaries, with a tendency to play whatever they please, always within tasteful limits.
Luomuduo julkaisi debyyttialbuminsa Askola vuonna 2021. Kansanmusiikki-lehti sen kuultuaan piti Luomuduoa ”yhtenä tämän hetken tyylitajuisimmista yhtyeistä”. Duo jalostaa jatkuvasti omaa sävelkieltään, ja heidän uusimmat sävelensä ovat kuunneltavissa Lustitarha EP:llä kaikissa suoratoistopalveluissa. Luomuduo esiintyy säännöllisesti Suomessa ja Pohjoismaissa, ja heidät valittiin Showcase-artistiksi Norjan Folkelarm-festivaalille 2023 ja Kaustisen festivaalille 2024.
