Joonas Tuuri Quartet is a bassist Joonas Tuuri’s band formed in 2017. The compositions of the modern jazz ensemble are by Tuuri. The music focuses on beautiful and catchy melodies, strong different moods, and highly honed co-playing and improvisation. Sensitive communication between musicians makes the music kneel in a unique and unpredictable way.
The band's debut album ''Dimensions'' was released in early spring 2022 through Eclipse Music. In connection with the release of the album, the band performed at the FlameJazz event in Turku Church Park, the Eclipse Jazz Club in Tampere and the jaZZanti concert in Helsinki.
