Cassiopeia ja Kipinät
The club-style seating of Pikisali will be filled with shimmering harmonies and enchanting rhythms as Oulu's own Cassiopeia returns to the stage, joined by Kipinät, a choir from Jyväskylä that claimed victory at the Aarhus Vocal Festival choir competition last spring.
The evening promises pop, rock, and rhythm music in inventive mixed choir arrangements that elevate even familiar tunes to new heights and deliver lyrics straight to the bone. The program includes well-known songs originally performed by artists such as Kate Bush, Michael Jackson, Haloo Helsinki, and PMMP.
Both choirs will perform their own finely polished repertoires. In addition, *Cassiopeia* and *Kipinät* will join forces on stage, forming an ensemble of over 80 singers whose expressive power will make the March evening glow. Come and experience a musical journey that only the harmonies of dozens of voices united can create.
